Rozel – Nolan Lee Spreier, 71, passed away February 10, 2018 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.
He was born July 9, 1946 in Great Bend, the son of Victor and Doris I. Martin Spreier Jr. A longtime area resident, he worked in law enforcement, EMS, assisted veterans on how to get help and was a Ham radio operator-KAØKEK.
He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Vietnam Veterans of America and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include: two sons, Gary (Stephanie) Spreier, Coldwater and Kenneth Spreier, Lawrence; daughter, Susan Roach, Medicine Lodge; sister, Phyllis Romo, Great Bend; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James E. Spreier.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with Pastor Jarred Smith presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Rozel Cemetery, Rozel, with military graveside rites.
