Dodge City – Norma Jean Jarrett, 50, passed away September 13, 2014 in Dodge City.
She was born August 1, 1964, in Metairie, Louisiana, the daughter of Bob and Eleanor K. Sell Jarrett. A longtime area resident, she was a graduate from Hanston High School. She was also an employee for FedEx.
She was a member of the First Church of God, Special Olympics, the Job Club and was Associated with Arrowhead West, all of Dodge City.
Survivors include: her mother, Eleanor Jarrett, Hanston; four brothers, Robert Jarrett Jr., Midland, Texas, Mack Jarrett, Hutchinson, Ruben Jarrett and Larry Jarrett, both of Wichita; a sister, Elizabeth Lawlor, Ness City; a longtime boy friend, Calvin Reimer, Dodge City and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Jarrett and a sister, Kathy Rose Jarrett.
Funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the First Church of God, Dodge City, with Pastor Darrell Hendrickson presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Sutton Cemetery, Sutton, Nebraska.
