She was born January 17, 1947 in Pawnee County, the daughter of Wayne Eugene and Esther Alice Conard Beer. A long time resident of Larned, she was a retired Social Worker at the Larned State Hospital, and was former manager of the Pawnee Plaza Apartments, Larned.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Larned, VanDeCreek Pedal Pulling, and Volunteered at the Larned State Hospital.

Survivors include: her mother, Esther Beer, Larned; a son Dan Sherrid II, and wife Dolly, Mountain Home, Arkansas; three brothers, Steve, Wichita, Robert, Telluride, Colorado, James, Larned; a sister, Jeanne Beer, Larned; and four grandchildren, Dakota, Levi, Conner and Chanze.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother, John.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Rev. Bill Fitzgerrel presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the mortuary, the casket will be closed. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
