Oren "Lee" Carroll's Obituary
Larned- Oren "Lee" Carroll, 74, passed away June 18th, 2014 at his home in Larned.
He was born June 11, 1940, in Spearville, KS; the son of JP and Gladys Smith Carroll. An area Resident of Larned for over 20 years he was a Licensed Mental Health Technician at the Larned State Hospital.
He very much enjoyed woodworking, motorcycles, biking and Bike Across Kansas, gardening and his cats.
Survivors Include: his mother; his spouse, Janet Selfridge, Larned; one son, Charles Carroll, Larned; two daughters, Cindy Denning and husband Phil, Wichita, KS and Candi Castillo and husband Steve, Boise, ID; two sisters, Judy Griffith and husband Jeff, Casa Grande, AZ and Peggy Jo Coan, Lewis, KS.; ten grandchildren and several beloved cats, especially his favorite Goldie.
He was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Robert Carroll.
Memorial Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. friday at the Larned Cemetery, Larned KS with Pastor Rhonda Glenn presiding. Cremation has taken place.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice, the First Christian Church of Lewis or the Angel Flight of Kansas all in care of Beckwith Mortuary P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
