Obituary

Spearville- Patricia "Susie" A. Parsons, 65, passed away January 13, 2022 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina.

She was born January 17, 1956 in West Memphis Arkansas, the daughter of Robert "Bob" and Louella Ayers Kornele.

An area resident since 1964, Susie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a lively woman and enjoyed the love of God and her family. She received the Lord in 1978 and was a member of Hanston Mennonite Church, Hanston.

On November 11, 1972 she married the love of her life, Calvin "Vic" Parsons; he survives.

Other survivors include: her daughter, Linde (Jeffrey) Ohmes; two granddaughters, Elizabeth (Wesley) Giorgianni, Cassandra Ohmes; three great grandchildren, Avery, Benjamin, and Connor Giorgianni; two brothers, Bill Childress, Robert "Bobby" Kornele; a sister, Glenda Clare; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; three sisters, Joy Keller, Barbara Leonard, Kay Brewer; and a brother, Jerald "Jerry" Kornele.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Hanston Mennonite Church, Hanston, with Lay-Pastor Paul Miller presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in Hanston Mennonite Cemetery, Hanston.
