Jetmore- Patricia Anne Young, 84, passed away August 30, 2017 at the Hodgeman County Long-Term Care Center, Jetmore, KS.

She was born July 21, 1933 in Plainville, KS, the daughter of Frank and Marie Bieker Wells. She raised her family in Otis, later moving to Jetmore. She was a former employee of La Crosse Furniture.

She was of the Christian faith. She loved cooking and sewing and was a Girl Scout Leader, a Den Mother for Boy Scouts, a 4-H leader, a member of the United Methodist Women, an Extension Homemaker member and a member of the Otis-Bison Booster Club.

On August 4, 1958 in Salida, CO. she married Altha A. (John) Young. He passed away August 10, 1988.

Survivors Include: two sons, Dr. Terrell (Christine) Young, Provo, UT. and John (Janet) Young, Grand Junction, CO.; five daughters, Janet (Terry) Coats, Fairmont, OK., Lisa (Bennett) Moeder, Otis, KS., Stacey (Danny) Briggs, Jetmore, KS., Jennifer (Robert) Glynn, Great Bend, KS. and Lori (Harland) Werth, LaCrosse, KS.; two sisters, Shirley Eilers, Plainville, KS., Linda (Kenny) Lyle, Natoma, KS. and twenty grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by, her parents, two brothers, Robert and Jerry Wells, one sister, Glenadine Waggoner and one granddaughter, Danielle Briggs.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10:30 am at the United Methodist Church, Jetmore, with Pastor Cyd Stein presiding. Visitation will be held Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm to 8 pm at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be at the Otis Methodist Cemetery following the service at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Alzheimer's Association Walk or The Hodgeman County Long-Term Care Activity Fund in care of Beckwith Funeral Home, PO Box 663, Jetmore, KS. 67854.
