Larned - Patricia L. Young, 76, died March 3, 2011 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend.
She was born December 2, 1934 in Larned, the daughter of Clarence Gordon Hammond and Leora Nulf Hammond Kristufek. Moving from Rural Edwards County to Larned in 1973; she was the Administrator for Hammond Holiday Home.

She was a member of the Garden Club, Larned.

On Feb. 2, 1983 she married Lewis C. Young at Colorado Springs, Colorado. He survives.

Other survivors include: her mother, Leora, Wilson; five sons, Jerry Fox, Muskogee, Oklahoma, Tom Fox, Osawatome, Kansas, Tim Fox, Benton, Ted Fox, Towanda, John Fox, Liberty Hill, Texas; a step-son, Michael Young, Aurora, Colorado; five daughters, Carolyn Willis, Fall River, Shirley Hammeke, Nancy Bradford both of Larned, Rosalie Norris, Loveland, Colorado, Connie Bell, Olpe; two step-daughters Susan Motta, Merritt Island, Flordia and Nancy Fox, Benton; a sister, Barbara Fox, Wilson; thirty grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: a son, Dan Fox, two brothers, Jim Dale Hammond, David Hammond, and a grandchild.

Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with the Pastor Rob Schmutz presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
