Obituary

Garfield - Perry A. Obermiller, 65, died April 7, 2006, at Pratt Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 2, 1940, in Woodward, Oklahoma, the son of Ralph and Martha Messimer Obermiller. A longtime resident of Pawnee County, he was a Licensed Mental Health Technician at the Larned State Hospital.

He was an avid bowler and a member of the Pawnee County USBC.

On October 6, 1986 he married Beckie Hunter at Larned. She survives.

Other survivors include; a son, Duane Obermiller, Great Bend, two daughters, Linda Gobin, and Martha Lisa Briley, both of Larned, three brothers, Oliver Whetstone, Larned and Terry Whetstone, and Gary Whetstone, both of Salina a sister Monique Romo, Great Bend, and eight Grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Ron Day presiding. There will be no visitation before service. Cremation has taken place.
