Petra Perez, 100, passed away February 25, 2021 at the University of Kansas Health System Pawnee Valley Campus, Larned.

She was born May 13, 1920 in Mansfield, Ohio, the daughter of Pedro A. and Isabel Gurerro Perez.

A lifetime area resident, she was a domestic houseworker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society, both of Larned, and she loved her family.

Survivors include: two sisters, Ann Perez and Lola Perez, both of Larned; two brothers, Fheno (Gracie) Perez, and Raymond (Betty) Perez, both of Larned; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mary Perez and Josephine Perez, and two brothers, Ernest Perez and Harry Perez.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Service will be viewable via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary . Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with a vigil and rosary at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Larned Cemetery.
