Larned- Phyllis G. Eilts, 78, passed away at Pleasant View Home, Inman, Kansas

She was born April 30, 1939 In Sharon, OK, the daughter of Wilbur and Elsie Musselman Clapham.

Phyllis was a beloved wife, sister, mother and grandmother of two son's and five grandson's who she lovingly referred to as her own basketball team. She loved to watch sports and cheer on her favorite teams and was adored by her husband Walt who we are sure greeted her in heaven with a big hug and huge smile. She was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, Hutchinson.

On August 4, 1961, she married Walter F. Eilts in Larned. He passed away April 8, 2013.

Survivors include: son, Bradley and Janet Eilts, grandsons, Ryan, Matthew and Brett Eilts, of Larned and McPherson, KS; and son, Barton and Laura Eilts, grandsons, Jack and Nick Eilts, of Glenview, Illinois; three sisters, Patsy (Clapham) Grimes and husband M.D., Larned, Peggy (Clapham) Kelley and husband Everette, Birmingham, AL, Elva (Clapham) Base and husband Steve, Owasso, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, KS, with Pastor Tim Carey presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, KS. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Larned Cemetery, Larned, KS.
