Reeta Marie Avery, 80, passed away August 11, 2021 at her residence in Larned, KS.

She was born June 6, 1941 in Lenora, OK the daughter of Marvin and Pearl Hart Blaine. She was a 1959 graduate of Taloga High school, Taloga, OK. An area resident since October of 2019 moving from Enid, OK where she was a secretary and worked at a Beauty College.

She was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting and cooking. She also enjoyed listening to Mel Tillis and Elvis, who was said to have asked her to be his seamstress. Dogs held a special place in her heart.

On April 1, 1990 she married Albert Avery in Medford, OK. He passed away May 20, 2011.

Survivors include: one daughter, Annette (Robin) Hill, Larned, KS.; one Brother, Cecil Blaine, Pasadena, TX. and many nieces and nephews along with a good friend David Kloss, Larned, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Rickey W. Hill; two sisters, Arlis (Russ) Smith and Arlene (Victor) Terbush; one sister-in-law, Peggy Blaine.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
