Rhonda L. Stithem, 59, of Jetmore, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.

She was born February 20, 1964 in San Diego, California, the daughter of Ronald and Stella Daigrepont Yaussi.  She graduated from Horton High School in 1982.

Rhonda was a member of the Jetmore Presbyterian Church and a board member of the Hodgeman County Farm Bureau.  She was very involved with the county 4-H Foundation, and many other volunteer groups of which she wasn't a member.

She worked with Kansas State Research and Extension Service for twenty-seven years.  After that she had worked in the Hodgeman County Register of Deeds office for the past year.

She married Jerry D. Stithem on March 10, 1984 at Hoyt.  He survives, of the home.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Clay Yaussi.

Other survivors include her mother, Stella Yaussi, Ft. Worth area, two sons, Jason Andrew Stithem (Renay), Overbrook and Justin Stithem (Kimberly), Fredonia; a sister, Charity Martin (Steve), Ft. Worth area; a brother, Mark Yaussi (Anita), Austin, TX; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 6th at the Hodgeman County 4-H building, followed by a visitation with family and friends from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
