R.L. Cauble's Obituary
Zook - R. L. Cauble, 85, passed away May 7, 2017 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.
He was born January 30, 1932 in Larned; the son of Mearl E. and Edna M. Buhrer Cauble. A lifetime area resident he was a Cattle Buyer/Stockman.
He was a member of the Larned United Methodist Church; Kansas Cattleman's Association, New Mexico Stock Growers' Association and the Colorado Independent CattleGrowers Association.
On November 22, 1953 he married Donna I. Strader in Larned, Kansas; she passed away June 16, 2011.
Survivors include; two sons, Leon (Rosan), Olathe; and Merrill (Deb), Larned; a daughter, Tina Markham, Wichita; a sister, Dorthea James, Dighton; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and was Grandpa to all the kids he met.
He was preceded in death by; his wife, Donna; a sister, Rosemary Cauble and a son-in-law, John Markham.
Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Larned United Methodist Church with Rev. Bethann Black presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Zook, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Zook Community Building, in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
