Robert "Bob" Lawrence Mcfadden's Obituary
Larned – Robert "Bob" L. McFadden, 77, died February 2, 2007 at St. Joseph Memorials Hospital, Larned.
He was born March 16, 1929 in Ness County, the son of William Ray and Alma Idolette Bondurant McFadden. A Larned resident for 50 years moving from Leadville, Colorado, he was a retired owner of Bob's Barber Shop, Larned.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, American Legion, Larned Country Club, and Men's Golf Association all of Larned.
On August 31, 1952 he married Loretta Webster at Rozel. She survives.
Other survivors include: four sons, Robert E., Wichita, David W., Larned, W. Craig, France, D. Kevin, Austin, Texas; a sister, Sybil Whithuhn, Bazine, Kansas; five grandchildren, Robert J., Jamie, Justin, Jared McFadden, Heaven Leland and two great-grandchildren, Skylar, Adynn Leland.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald, Harold and a sister Doris Lapata.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned with Pastor John Hester presiding. Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday all at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery with Military Honors provided by Ft. Riley Honor Guard.
