Larned - Robert Madden Jr., 70, died May 30, 2007 at the St. Jospeh Memorial Hospital, Larned.
He was born October 10, 1936 in Ringgold, Louisiana, the son of Robert Madden Sr., and Willie Alice Moore. A Larned resident since 1945 moving from Ringgold, LA. He was a cook for the Blue Goose Café and the Don Do Resturant.
He was a member of the Escue Chapel CME Church, Larned.
In October of 1955 he married Donna L. Caro, they later divorced and she survives. He later married Bobbie Dean Beard she died May 9, 1992.
Survivors include: his mother, Riggold;two sons, Marvin and Horace, a daughter, Shawn Madden and a step-daughter, Jada Robinson, all of Larned, two brothers, Elmo Madden, Ringgold, LA and Johnnie Lee Madden, Chicago, IL, three sisters, Ruth Mae Madden, Catherine Madden, both of Chicago, IL, Gloria Madden, Clarksdale, Mississippi, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by; his father, a son, Robert N. Madden, a daughter, Roberta Madden, and a sister, Colleen Lloyd.
Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Hill and Rev. Johnny Augmon presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and until service time Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
