Wichita - Robert Sheraden, 82, passed away October 8, 2015 at his home, Wichita.
He was born December 22, 1932 in Burnt Prairie, Ill.; the son of Albert and Rubal Harris Sheraden. A lifetime area resident of Wichita; he was an Industrial Engineer for Boeing and was also a School Teacher.
He graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelors and Masters Degrees in English, Speech and History. Robert was a radical WSU Shockers fan, he loved motorcycles and was an avid reader.
On September 30, 1961 he married Rowena Dipman in Wichita. She survives.
Other survivors include; two brothers, Elmo Sheraden (Brenda), Gallatin, Tennessee and Doyce Sheraden (Ruth), Carmi, Illinois; and his special friends, Jerry and Pat Waite, Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Miller, and Jerry and Charlotte Snyder.
Funeral Service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Daryl Riffel presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas.
