Lyons – Robert Duane Wiley Jr., 52, died March 27, 2010 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.

He was born October 31, 1957 at Kinsley, Kansas the son of Robert Duane Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Contererez Wiley. A Larned resident for 20 years, he was a Truck Driver for 33 years currently driving for Tom Snell Trucking.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church as a child. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, gun collecting and love to watch football and wrestling.

On October 14, 1978 he married Patricia Marie Kerns at Kinsley. She survives.

Other survivors include: his mother, Mary Elizabeth Contererez, Larned; a son Justin Wiley, Lyons; two daughters, Angela Baker, Hutchinson, Rebecca Scripsick, Larned; a brother, Ronald Wiley, Kinsley; half-brother, Harold Wiley, Great Bend; half-sister, Amber Chism, Great Bend; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Luella Diane Wiley; and father Robert Duane Wiley Sr.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned with Chaplain David Hales presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the mortuary.
