Larned - Rodney L. Colson, 63, passed away June 27, 2026 at his home, Larned.

He was born March 11, 1963 in Topeka, Kansas; the son of Willaim and Glenda Wahl Colson. A Larned resident since 2012, moving from Garden City, he was employed by Sebes Hay, Larned, Kansas.

He was a member of the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Kinsley and enjoyed riding his Harley, doing woodworking projects and tinkering.

Survivors include; Fiancé, Dail Crelly, Larned; two brothers, John (Nicole) Colson, Big Piney, Wyoming, David Colson, Garden City and step-brother, Jeff (Charlotte) Bahntge, Kendall; his aunt, Elvera Bergsten, Wamego and Darlen Sutton, Topeka; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by; his parents, William and Glenda Wahl, his step-father, Ron Bahntge and a niece Tosha Rene Nicole Colson.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be at a later date.
