Jetmore – Rodney R. Gibbs, 61, passed away February 18, 2021 at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, KS.

He was born February 20, 1959 in Dodge City, the son of Frank R. and Opal J. Corey Gibbs.  A lifetime area resident, he worked for David Berger, was a truck driver and had a lawn mowing business.

He was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the American Legion, Jetmore.

Survivors include: father, Frank R. Gibbs, Jetmore and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal J. Gibbs; brother, Larry Law; niece, Kristi Hatfield and a  nephew, Monty Law.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial graveside will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore, with Rev. Mark Durham presiding. Service will be viewable via Facebook live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore
