Ronald D. Connery, 85, passed away September 2, 2024.

He was born November 26, 1938 in Little River, Kansas, the son of David and Elva Buchanan Connery. Moving from Lyons, Kansas, he was a resident of Larned for forty-four years where he was the Pawnee County Deputy Appraiser.

He attended the First Christian Church in Larned. He was a member of the Golden Belt Wood Carvers and enjoyed doing stained glass, woodworking and camping.

On January 29, 1977 he married Patti J. Folck in Lyons.  She survives.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Kandy R. Connery, Oklahoma, Amy (Brent) Haverlah, San Antonio, TX, Shelby (Joe) Bruckerhoff, Wamego, KS; two brothers, Jerald (Garalyn) Connery, Manhattan, KS, Gerald (Terry) Connery, Manistee, MI; brother-in-law, Gary Folck, Lyons, KS; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Robyn Connery.
