Ronald Lester Fishburn, 88, passed away January 22, 2023 in Liberal, Kansas. He was born to Lester Marion and Bessie May Fishburn on August 12, 1934 in Solomon, Kansas, later moving to Larned in 1952.

Ron married Cloella Jane Hager in 1957 and together had four children.  He was honorably discharged from the Kansas National Guard in November, 1958.  After divorcing, he married Rosalene Kaeberle in 1975, who preceded him in death.

Ron worked most of his adult life at Bert & Wetta Sales in Larned until his retirement as Operations Manager, after which he enjoyed custom cutting until 2005. He then spent his time in what he loved most – growing beautiful flowers, gardening and spending time with his family and granddogs.

Surviving Ronnie are: His children: Teresa (John) Stonestreet of Sublette, KS, Tammy Fishburn (Kevin Polzin) of Galatia, KS. Tracy Fish (Trent McCowen) of Garnett, KS and Joe Fishburn (Margo Liss) of Garland, TX. Grandchildren: Savanah (Steve) Orlando, Dale (Larissa) Stonestreet, Wesley Stonestreet, Melissa Fish and Tessa (Sullivan) Ripley. Greatgrandchildren: Dante, Morgan, Ella and Landry. Great-great grandson: Cameron. Siblings: Glenda Kirkham, Leon Fishburn and Cindy (Mark) Houser.

Graveside service and burial will take place February 4, 2023 at 2pm at Larned Cemetery with Father Bernard Felix presiding.
