Lewis - Ross V. Woolard, 75 died April 29, 2009 at the St. Joseph Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 19, 1933 in Centerview. The son of Clarence A. and Molly J. Eberle Woolard. A lifetime Lewis resident he was a machinist at Cross Manufacturing for 49 Years.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, Larned
On August 13, 1991 he married Nadine F. Freeman at Kinsley. She survives.
Other survivors include; two sons; David, Hays, Mark and wife Kelley, Ft. Collins, Colorado; a daughter; Diana Scipione and husband Mark, Gilbert, Arizona; four step-sons, Terry Galyardt, Tom and wife Julie VanSickle, both of Lewis, Tony and wife Tara Galyardt, Goddard, Tim and wife Donna Galyardt, Kinsley; a sister, Lois Lindsay, Osborne; eleven step-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph, Dean; and a sister, Ruby Sawyer.
Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church with the Pastor Dan Lundgren presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in the Wayne Cemetery, Lewis.
Memorials may be sent to the Larned EMS or the Larned Healthcare Center both in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
