Roy Connelly's Obituary
Roy "Bill" Connelly, 69, died June 16, 2011 at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.
He was born September 17, 1941 in Hutchinson, the son of Isom Roy and Elizabeth Williams Connelly. A longtime area resident, he was a Printer for 25 years then a Larned Juvenile Justice Authority for 21years at the Larned State Hospital.
He was a member of the Christian Church, Fort Larned Arms Association, both of Larned, the Kansas Muzzleloaders Association and Pheasants Forever.
On February 14, 1964 he married Dianne Sue Davis at Atwood, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include; two sons, Roy W., Park City and Rob W., Larned and five grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned with the Pastor James Underwood presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be given to the Jordaan Library in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
