Ruth L. Buehler's Obituary
Larned – Ruth L. Buehler, 93, died November 5, 2009 at Larned Healthcare, Larned.
She was born July 8, 1916 at Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Lester E. and Lena (Cook) Proffitt. A prior resident of Great Bend moving to Larned in 2002, she was a homemaker and nurse aid at Gleason Hospital and St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Larned.
On September 28, 1935 she married Guy Cronenberg Jr. at Garden City. He died July 1, 1968. On June 4, 1979 she married Harvey Buehler at Great Bend. He died November 10, 1990.
Survivors include: two daughters, Connie M. Harsha and husband Ken, Garden City, Kansas, Janet L. Adams and husband Fred, Larned; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carole A. Mead; a brother, Earl Proffitt; and a sister, Audra Oliver.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 9, at the Larned Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned.
