Larned - Sharon Kay Contrerez, 57, died, July 20, 2006 at the Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson.
She was born November 12, 1948, in Salida, Colorado, the daughter of Donald Edwin and Ruby Helen Martin Hollister. A longtime resident of Larned, Kinsley and Great Bend, she was a cashier at Wal-Mart of Great Bend.
She was an avid bingo player.
On October 20, 1969, she married Steven Contrerez at Kinsley, he survives.
Other survivors include; a son, Steven Lee Contrerez; a daughter, Shawna Kay Contrerez; both of the home, and four sisters, Joyce Hollister, Caldwell, Idaho, Linda Cunningham, Juanita Lemon and Melody Gibson all of Larned,.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Craig Hollister.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, with the Father Mark Cowell presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Mortuary.
Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
