Shirley M. Vonfeldt's Obituary
LARNED- Shirley M. VonFeldt, 72, died October 2, 2009 at the Larned Healthcare Center with her family at her side.
She was born March 22, 1937, at Victoria, the daughter of Edwin and Armella Dreiling Schmidtberger, she was a housewife.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the Altar Society.
On July 21, 1954, she married G. L. VonFeldt at Gorham. He survives.
Survivors include: three sons, Richard, and wife Barbara ; James and wife Judy, all of Larned. Douglas and wife Mary , Wamego; a sister, Lillian Zufelt and husband Irwin, Lago Vista, Texas; seven grandchildren; Bryan, Hays, Kevin Larned; Stephanie Pierce and husband Houston, Andrew, Aaron and wife Edith, Joshua, and Andrea, all of Manhattan.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Lee Schmidtberger, and a grandson, Bradley VonFeldt.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church , Larned with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Friends may sign the register book from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel. Vigil service will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society, South Wind Hospice, or the Larned Food Pantry. In care of the Beckwith Mortuary, PO Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
