Obituary

Burdett – Stanley Ben Hinnergardt, 80, passed away December 12, 2021 at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.

He was born March 11, 1941 in Great Bend, the son of Ben and Ethel Shearer Hinnergardt.

A lifetime area resident he was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of Burdett United Methodist Church and served as a trustee, he served on the Burdett Coop Board and the Burdett State Bank Board.

On June 3, 1962 he married Faye Nadine Gross at Bazine United Methodist Church; she preceded him in death on January 15, 2021.

Survivors include: two sons, Shane Hinnergardt, Burdett, Darin (Teresa) Hinnergardt, St. Joseph, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Donovan Hinnergardt, Brandon Hinnergardt, and Amanda (Warren) Cochran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a sister, Sylvia Hinnergardt, and a brother, Roger Hinnergardt.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at Burdett Methodist Church with Pastor Linda Doyle presiding. Service will be viewable via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in Brown's Grove Cemetery, Burdett.
