Susan L. Stout, 62, passed away November 24, 2019 at Diversicare of Larned.

Born November 10, 1957 in Valentine, Nebraska, the daughter of James Lyle Stout Sr. and Rosella Marie Paxton Sydow.

A longtime area resident, she was a member of the Saints Mary and Martha Episcopal Church and the Welcome Inn Senior Center, Larned. She worked as a dietary cook for Larned Healthcare Center.

Survivors include: mother, Rosella Sydow, Larned; five daughters, Jacqueline (Karl) Ayers, Valentine, Nebraska, Lisa Bigelow, Omaha, Nebraska, Tiffani (Christopher) Johnson, Stillwater, Oklahoma, Meagan (Henry) Garcia, Wichita, Suzi (Trenton) Worthey, Larned; son, Tyler Whitten, Larned; Brother, James "Corky" (Sonja) Stout, Larned; Sister, Donna Decostes (Vance Retzlaff), Chadron, Nebraska; fifteen grandchildren, Preston, Jazmyn, Mae'lisa, Brittnie, Trevar, Victoria, Damien, Aurora, Lyla, Blyss, Zaydenn, Kylee, Sebastian, Lyle, John; one great grandson, Killian.

She was preceded in death by: father, James Lyle Stout Sr.; common law husband, James Whitten; and a sister, Anita Lynn Spencer.

Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2019 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with Father Mark Cowell presiding. Visitation 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2019 with family present 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Inurnment in Larned Cemetery, Larned.
