Obituary

Larned – Tamsel F. Rogers, 105, passed away August 18, 2015 in Larned.

She was born October 14, 1909 in Osborne County, the daughter of Orval Richard and Clara Pearle Marlar Fallis. Moving to Larned in 1968, she was a teacher and principal.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, belonged to the United Methodist Women, D.A.R., Garden Club and was a volunteer at the Budget Shop, all of Larned.

On August 6, 1940, she married Verlin McClancy Rogers in Rush Center. He passed away October 20, 2010.

Survivors include: a grandson, V. Mark Rogers (Craig Wilson), Wichita; a granddaughter, Holly Rogers, Kinsley; a great grandson, Brandon Chinn, Larned.

She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Rogers, and a brother, Denzil Fallis.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Rev. Bethann Black presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Mortuary. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, at Vincent Cemetery, Luray, Kansas
