Larned - Ted W. Gingrich, 97, died, January 15, 2008 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend.

He was born March 18, 1910 in Hams Prairie, Missouri, the son of J.E. and Madge Beaven Gingrich.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Larned, Zook School Board and Valley Center Township Board. A resident of Pawnee County and Edwards County for 70 years, he was a farmer stockman.

On December 24, 1932 he married Lola Emma Buhrer Gingrich. She died November 18, 1994.

Survivors include: son Teddy Gingrich and wife Carol, Larned, two daughters; Martha Guzzo and husband Vince, Overland Park, and Vivian Johnston, Lenexa, fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers; Ray, Harold, Charles, Robert, and a sister, Helen Gingrich.

Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, with pastor Bill Fitzgerrel presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m Thursday and Friday at the Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Zook.
