Residente de Lewis, Kansas durante los ultimós 25 años, ella se mudó de Dodge City, Kansas.

Ella de la fe Católica y asistió a la Iglesia Católica de St. Nicholas en Kinsley. Ella era ama de casa y le gustaba pasar el tiempo con la familia y ir de compras.

Ella se casó con Hector Rivas 26 de Junio, 1980 en Dodge City, Kansas; le sobrevive.

Los sobrevivientes incluyen: dos hijos, Hector (Ebelin) Holguin, Lewis, Miguel (Lleraldy) Holguin, Great Bend; hija, Clarisa Holguin, Lewis; seis hermanas, Angelica Romero, Mexico, Martha Holguin, Esther Holguin, Ma Elena Romero, Cuca Holguin, y Lupe Holguin, todas de Lewis; seis hermanos, Quico, Thomas, Geronimo, Sergio, Ernesto Holguin, todos de Lewis, y Beto Holguin, Kinsley; cinco nietos, Luis, Aaron, Darian, Kaleb, y Ezequiel.

La precideieron en su muerte sus padres y un hermano, Nicho Holguin.

El funeral será a las 11:00 a.m. Miercoles, 18 de Enero de 2023 en Iglesia Católica de St. Bernard's en Belpre oficiado por Padre Bernard Felix. El velorio será de 9:00 a.m. a 8:00 p.m. Martes 17 de Enero de 2023 en la Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.

Lewis, Teresa Holguin, 66, passed away January 15, 2023 at her home in Lewis.

She was born September 15, 1956 in Mexico, the daughter of Thomas and Maria Elena Herrera Holguin.

A resident of Lewis for 25 years, she moved from Dodge City. She was of the Catholic Faith and attended St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Kinsley. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and shopping.

On June 26, 1980 she married Hector Rivas at Dodge City; he survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Hector (Ebelin) Holguin, Lewis, Miguel (Lleraldy) Holguin Great Bend; daughter, Clarisa Holguin, Lewis; six sisters, Angelica Romero, Mexico, Martha Holguin, Esther Holguin, Ma Elena Romero, Cuca Holguin, and Lupe Holguin, all of Lewis; six brothers, Quico, Thomas, Geronimo, Sergio, Ernesto Holguin, all of Lewis and Beto Holguin, Kinsley; five grandchildren, Luis, Aaron, Darian, Kaleb, and Ezequiel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Nicho Holguin.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Belpre with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
