Terrell Joseph Racette passed away on May 18, 2024, in his home.

Born on April 26, 1954, in Oakley, KS, he was the son of George Racette and Verlene (Brungardt) Racette. Terrell retired from the USPS after 33 years of dedicated service.

Terrell enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and visiting with his family. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and KU Jayhawks, rarely missing a game. Above all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren.

In 1976, Terrell married Leann Jantz, and together they had one son, Ty Racette. They later divorced. In 2023, he married Monica Yun, she survives.

Other survivors include his son, Ty Racette (Allisa) of Larned; mother, Verlene Herrman of Manhattan, KS; sister, Cindy Kinsley of Manhattan, KS; brother, Jeff Racette of Manhattan, KS; grandson, Cash Racette of Larned; granddaughter, Baylor Racette of Larned; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Brad and Allen Racette, and his father, George Racette.
