Terry Ray Foos' Obituary
Terry Ray Foos, 60, passed away September 3, 2011 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
He was born February 11, 1951 in Great Bend, the son of Theodore C. and Glendoris Rein Foos-Blattner. A lifetime area resident; he was a member of the United Methodist Church, Burdett and the Assistant Director for the Burdett EMS, and a volunteer for the Burdett Fire and Rescue Dept., and was on the Burdett City Council.
On July 17, 1971 he married Sonja Welsh at Burdett. She survives.
Other survivors include; his mother, Glendoris Foos-Blattner, Rozel, three sons, Richard, Hardtner, George, Fairfield, Jesse, Burdett, a daughter; Crystal Smith, Springfield, MO, a brother; Ritch, Rozel, a sister; Pamela Spreier, Rush Center and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; his father, Theodore.
Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Burdett with Pastors Brad McCoy and Irvin Jennings presiding. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday with the Family present from 6-8 p.m. at the Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Brown's Grove Cemetery, Burdett.
Memorials may be given to the Terry Foos Memorial or Burdett EMS, both in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS, 67550.
