Jetmore – Thelma L. Bamberger, 92, died March 12, 2009 at her home near Jetmore.

She was born April 2, 1916 in Hodgeman County, the daughter of Jesse and Anna Anderson Henderson, she was a Farm wife.

She belonged to the United Methodist Church, taught Sunday School for 35 years, 4 H Leader, and a community club member, all of Jetmore.

On November 4, 1938 she married Christie R. Bamberger at Newton, Ks. He died August 1, 2007.

Survivors: include three sons, Dennis and wife Betty, Mike and wife Vanessa, Jetmore, Christie Jr. and companion Dorothy, Coolidge, two daughters, Linda Housman and husband Laverne, Jetmore, Shirley and husband Byron Ulery, Beloit; 13 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by, three sisters, Pearl Obholtz, Esther Rachac, Mildred Lonnberg, and a grandson.

Funeral will be 4:00 P.M. Saturday, at the United Methodist Church, Jetmore with the Rev. Marvin Ewertt presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday with the family present from 7p.m. to 8p.m. at the Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
