Larned – Theodore "Ted" Roosevelt Seachris, 94, passed away July 2, 2020 at Diversicare of Larned.

He was born June 26, 1926 in Waynoka, Oklahoma to Charles and Mary Beaman Seachris.

A longtime area resident, he was of the Pentecostal faith, attended the Welcome Inn Senior Center, and was a welder for Doerr Metal Company, Larned.

On June 21, 1952 he married Florine M. Rhodes in Kinsley; she preceded him in death on November 18, 1998. He later married Bettie McDonald on September 10, 2010 in Larned, she survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Donald Seachris and Danny Seachris, both of Larned; step son, Michael Honomichl, Larned; daughter, Betty Moore, Larned; sister, Elsie Bingham, Pollock Pines, California; three grandchildren; one step grandchild; six great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Florine; son, Bobby Seachris; step daughter, Sherry Hopkins; four brothers, Roy Seachris, Marvin Seachris, Bill Seachris, Paul Seachris and three grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Larned Cemetery, Larned, with Pastor John Thomas presiding. Visitation 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7 ^th , 2020 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial in Larned Cemetery.
