Spearville – Thomas A. Naasz, 68, Died March 1, 2006 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Ks.
He was born August 4, 1937 at Hardtner, Kansas the son of Edward and Nora Root Naasz. He was a Bus Driver and Custodian for USD 381 Spearville.
He was a member of the St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church, Spearville.
On July 1, 1963 he married Jackie Thurston, at Raton, New Mexico. She survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Lee and wife Barb, Spearville; Dean, Salina; Jim and wife Skye, Shoals Indiana; two daughter, Brenda Naasz, Jetmore; Tracie Cox, and husband Rick, Cimarron; four sisters, Betty Wilson, Edmond, Ok; Pat Billings, Yukon, Ok.; Nancy Swonger, and husband Chuck, Sawyer; Margaret Gliesch, and husband Roland, Halliday, North Dakota; three brothers, Ed Naasz, and wife Donna, Wichita; John Naasz, Amarillo, TX.; Frank Winters, Pratt, Ks.; and 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Spearville, with Father Dennis Reed and Deacon Dwaine Lampe presiding.
Vigil service will be 8:15 P.M. on Friday at the Church. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Friday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Ellenwood Cemetery, in Sawyer, Ks. at 2: 30 P.M. Saturday.
