Larned – Troy Vance Bauer, 65, passed away on August 26, 2026, at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital.

He was born July 27, 1961, in Larned, the son of Robert L. and Virginia Ann Culbreath Bauer.

He was a lifetime area resident and worked as a CNA. Troy enjoyed carpentry, telescopes, and stargazing. He also loved animals and reptiles.

Survivors include: two brothers, Lance and Allen Bauer, both of Larned; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place; services will be announced at a later time.
