Larned – Vera Evolyn Nulf, 100, died August 22, 2007 at the Larned Healthcare Center, Larned.

She was born December 7, 1906 at Ft. Scott, Kansas, the daughter of James George and Margaret Hills Hyle. A longtime Larned resident she was a retail clerk and Homemaker.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, EHU, and Eastern Star, all of Larned and Royal Neighbors, Ft. Scott.

In November of 1926 she married Harry Joseph Babb. He died in 1968. On July 15, 1961 she married David Elmer Nulf at Larned. He survives.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Cliff, Jess, Harry; two sisters, Ruby Ayers, Murdie Hyle; and three grandsons, Ricky Webster, Brad Frazier and Dustin Maxwell.

Other survivors include: three sons, Larry Nulf, Burrton, Mike Babb, Wichita, David Nulf, Burrton; five daughters, Thyra Frazier, Elaine Slack both of Larned, Edna Mae Webster, Dallas, Carolyn Roach, Bella Vista, Arkansas, Pam Davis, Lewis; twenty six grandchildren; thirty five great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church, Larned, with Pastor Dan Lundgren and Pastor Mike Babb presiding. Friend may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday with family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
