Vera Mae Stanfield's Obituary
Larned - Vera Mae Stanfield, 91, died February 6, 2008, at the Larned Healthcare Center.
She was born February 24, 1916, in Wagner, Oklahoma, the daughter of Bert Rufus, and Minnie P. Cane. A Larned resident since 1994, moving from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a Homemaker and Bookkeeper.
She was of the Christian faith.
On December 28, 1947, she married John W. Stanfield at Yuma City, Arizona. He died January 3, 1982.
Survivors include: a nephew, Jack D Hefner, and wife Helen, two grand nephews, Jack Berkley and Alan Hefner, one great-grand nephew, and one great-grand niece.
She was preceded in death by; three brothers, George, Iduss and Jack.
Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Larned Cemetery with the Pastor Dan Lundgren presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas.
Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
