Jetmore – Vicki A. (Lonnberg) Schwartz, 56, died January 15, 2013, at her home in Jetmore.
She was born June 25, 1956, in Dodge City, the daughter of Tom R. and Mary E. Housman Lonnberg. A lifetime area resident, she sold Avon for 21 years, and was co- owner of Schwartz Auto and Hodgeman County Outdoors.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, 4-H, Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, Happy Hour Club, Theta Pi Sorority, E.H.U. Homemakers, Saddle & Roping Club, Hodgeman County Booster Club and was Booster of the year in 2012, all of Jetmore.
On November 10, 1979, she married Wayne Schwartz in Jetmore. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Tom and wife Chelsea, Jetmore; a brother, Jim Lonnberg and wife Janet, Burdett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Lonnberg.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, with Rev. Mark Durham presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
Memorials may be sent to the Hodgeman County 4-H in care of Beckwith Funeral Home, Box 663 Jetmore, Ks 67854.
