Virgie J. Rector's Obituary
Virgie J. Rector, 79 passed away November 2, 2011 at Larned Healthcare Center.
She was born October 1, 1932, the daughter of Charles T. Dalton Sr. and Alta Leatherman. A Larned resident since 1975 moving from Dodge City, she was a Licensed Mental Health Aide for the Larned State Hospital.
She was of the Christian Faith.
On April 15, 1948 she married John G. Rector at Cimarron, KS. He passed away April 29, 1996.
Survivors include; a son, Tracy, Larned; two daughters, Connie Cox, Coldwater, Darla Perez, Larned; a brother, D. Dalton; three sisters, Judy Kosin, Diana Webster, both of Larned, Eileen Youngs, California, twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; two daughters, Gayla Frymark and Carol Rector, two brothers, Charles Jr. and Victor, a sister, Carla and a great grandchild.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Larned Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Singer presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Pawnee County Food Pantry in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
