Obituary

Greensburg – Virginia Lee Granger, 70, died October 4, 2007, at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.

She was born December 3, 1936 at Fort Scott, Kansas the daughter of Virgil and Pearl Harvey Crim. She was a longtime area resident, she was a homemaker.

She was of the Christian Faith.

On April 29, 1956, she married Laurice Granger at Osawatomie, Kansas. He died April 25, 1985.

Survivors include: two sons, Lester Granger, Burdett; John Granger, Dodge City; three daughters, Ginger Granger, Fort Scott, Etta L. Granger, Kechi; Jessi Legg, Greensburg; Five, Brothers, Chester Crim, Fort Scott; Vern Crim, Rose Hill, Ray Crim, Kansas City, Ks.; Dale Crim and Roy Crim both of Wellsville; two sisters, Wilma Franks, Fort Scott; Linda Adams, Louisburg; friend, Bill Helfrich, Kinsley; 9 grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Granger, three Brothers, John Crim, Leo Crim, and Jimmy Crim, one sister Irene Crim.

A Memorial graveside service will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hanston Cemetery, Hanston Kansas, with the Pastor Roger Alford presiding. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore is in charge of arrangements.
