Virginia Mae Mercer's Obituary
Jetmore – Virginia Mae Mercer, 88, died November 24, 2008 at her daughters home in Jetmore.
She was born March 18, 1920, in Stratford, Missouri, the daughter of Stanley and Tibitha Nettie Castor Emerson. Living in Jetmore a short while, she was a homemaker
She was of the Methodist Faith, a member of Eastern Star, 4-H Sewing Club, Saddle Club and she had her Private Pilots License.
Survivors include: a daughter, Joy Brummett, Jetmore; two brothers, Roy McGee and Luther McGee, Minneola; two sisters, Florence Meyers, Kingman, Arizona and Margaret Addis, Hartville, Missouri; eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son Gary Leon Winkelman, two brothers, Charley and Emmitt McGee.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no services. Beckwith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
