Jetmore – Wanda Mae Berger, 92, passed away August 26, 2022 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS.

She was born December 12, 1929 in Hodgeman County, the daughter of Thomas A. and Alice Lillian Schechter Dunn.  A lifetime area resident, she was a school teacher for forty-three years.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, United Presbyterian Women, American Legion Auxiliary, Jetmore Senior Center, all of Jetmore, KS and was a hospice volunteer, Dodge City, KS.

On April 27, 1952 she married Milton Lee Berger in Jetmore, KS.  He passed away November 30, 2010.

Survivors include: three daughters, Brenda K. (Johnny) Herrman, Cimarron, KS, Darla D. (Steve) Korf, Humboldt, KS, Marsha L. Fitzsimmons, Wichita, KS; sister, Connie (Alan) Salmans, Dodge City, KS; son-in-law, Roger Holmes, Hanston, KS; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Wayne and Jack Dunn; a daughter, Marla L. Holmes and a grandson, Kirk Wiebusch.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, with Rev. Mark Durham presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore, KS.  Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore, KS.
