Waneta I. Mausolf, 84, died April 22, 2017 at Country Living of Larned Memory Care in Larned.
She was born May 15, 1932 in Ellinwood, KS the daughter of Nic and Emma (Panning) Suhler. A resident of Larned since 1969, moving from Albert, KS. She was a Secretary at Larned State Hospital.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and was a member of the Quilting Bees, both in Larned.
On Dec. 18th, 1951 she married Herman Mausolf at Ellinwood, KS. He died July 7, 2014.
Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl (Curtis) Rasmussen, Jetmore, KS; Linda Mausolf, Larned, KS; and Amy Kemp, Panhandle, TX; a sister Eloise Winkelman, Lawrence, KS; grandchildren, Ryan Mausolf, Megan Mawhirter, Grant Mausolf, Lauren Mausolf, Sarah Holt, Caitlin Davis, Tara Kemp, and Nicholas Kemp; great-grandchildren, Dakota Mawhirter, Dylan Mawhirter, Conner Mausolf, Cole Mausolf, Ty MacEachern, Colton MacEachern, Landon Davis, Teagan Davis, and Braylee Davis.
She was preceded in death by a son Craig Mausolf, a brother Robert Suhler, and a grandson Jeremy Rasmussen.
Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned with Minister Gary Bennett presiding.
Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 am – 8 pm both at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, KS.
Burial will be in Larned Cemetery, Larned, KS. Memorial may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the mortuary
