Warren Dean McCrary, 69, passed away October 20, 2022 in Larned.

He was born April 4, 1953 in Sacramento, California, the son of William Donald and Leona Arlene Fought McCrary.

A longtime area resident, he was a retired hotel clerk. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with his grandkids. He served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include: his mother, Leona McCrary, Hutchinson; two sons, Aaron (Benjamin Capp) McCrary, St. Louis, Missouri, Andrew (Shanda) McCrary, Larned; daughter, Katherine (Duane) Obermiller, Larned; two brother, William Daniel McCrary, Rhode Island, Wayne Dale McCrary, Hutchinson; nine grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Little One.

He was preceded in death by his father, and two brothers, Willard Daryl McCrary and Walter Donald McCrary.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2022 with family present from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
