Obituary

Jetmore – Warren (Dutch) Pitts, 85, died May 9, 2006 at the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.

He was born August 31, 1920 in Hodgeman County, the son of Oren and Elizabeth Love Pitts. A resident of Jetmore for the last few years. He was a Utility Repairman for the Northern Natural Gas Company.

He was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, and American Legion both of Jetmore. He was a World War II Veteran.

On November 20, 1943, he married Lina Mae Higdon, at Louisville, Kentucky She died August 5, 1999.

Survivors include: four daughters, Judith Hiss, Wichita; Betty Nelson, Wheatland, Wyoming; Linda Oblander, Shattuch, Oklahoma; Bonnie Watson, Ardmore, Oklahoma; one son, Thomas, Ocala, Florida; one sister, Eunice Lampe, Jetmore; four bothers, Willis, Garden City; Vernon, Kansas City; Norm and Jerry both of Jetmore; 13 grandchildren, 4 Great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Audrey Pitts, and two brothers, Jess, and John.

Vigil Service will be at 7:30 P.M. Friday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church Jetmore, with the Father Robert Schremmer and Deacon Dwaine Lampe presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore, with Military Graveside Rites.

Memorials may be sent to American Legion, Jetmore Library, or Long Term Care Center, all in care of the Funeral Home. Condolences may be left and notice read at www.beckwithfuneralhome.com.
