Obituary

Wesley Litzenberger, 92, died May 26, 2008 at Trinity Manor, Dodge City.

He was born January 5, 1916 in Galatia, the son of Henry and Elizabeth Michel Litzenberger. A lifetime area resident, he was a Car Dealer.

On Aug. 24, 1941 he married Mildred Clevenger in Kingsdown. She died September 19, 2006.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 290 Chester Hawkins, and served on the USD #227 School Board all of Jetmore. He was a Mason with Grandview Lodge #376 in Bucklin. He enjoyed working on cars, wood working, boating, gardening, golfing and loved spending time with all of his grandchildren.

Survivors include; two sons, Gary, Kansas City, Missouri, Kyle, Derby, three daughters, Denis Ann Bamberger, Dodge City, Jane Montgomery, Manhattan, Neila Whitt, Lees Summit, Missouri, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by; two brothers, Isaack and Henry, and three sisters, Kathrine Halling, Elma French, Mildred Bacon and one grandchild.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Jetmore with Carolyn Tarman presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday with family present on Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
