Wilbert Jean Schwartz's Obituary
Jetmore – Wilbert J. Schwartz, 77, died Jan. 5, 2006, at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.
He was born February 6, 1928, at Ness City, Kansas, the son of Alex Schwartz Jr. and Marie Adelia Block Schwartz. He was a resident of Jetmore since 1953, moving from Healey. He was a Heavy Equipment operator, retired from the Kansas Department Of Transportation.
On February 11, 1951 he married Mildred E. Fosdick in Lane County, Kansas, she died April, 2002. He married Lillian Elaine Musson on July 16, 1960, she resides in Arkansas City, Kansas.
Other survivors include; two sons, Ricky Schwartz, Fairbury, Nebraska, Duane Schwartz, Wellington; five daughters, Linda Nelsen, Concordia, Debra Irsik, Emporia, Brenda Jamison, Avilla, Missouri, Glendora Paston, Chesterfield, Missouri, and Melody Vieux, Jetmore; two brothers, Nelson Schwartz, Alamota, Kansas and Eugene Schwartz, Littleton, Colorado; one sister, Nadine Goodman, Ness City; 14 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents.
Graveside Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Dighton Cemetery, Dighton with the Reverend Mitch Reece presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Dighton Cemetery, Dighton.
