Obituary

Dodge City – William H. Moots, 83, died January 12, 2010 at Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.

He was born March 9, 1926 at Louisville, KY. The son of Joseph & Lula Sillman Moots. He was a lifetime area resident. He was a Painter and Postal worker.

He was of the Christian faith, V.F.W. Dodge City. He served in the United States Army in WWII, and was avid bow hunter and fisherman.

He Married Jewell Moots, she survives of Dodge City.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Glenda Sebes, Dodge City, Carrie Brock, Wichita; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Norman, Roy, Melvin; three sisters, Doris, Lola, Delma.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, with Rev. Mark Durham and Carolyn Tarman presiding. Friends may call from 9a.m. to 8p.m. Thursday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City, with Military Graveside rites.
